If you have clothing, kids, pets, food, or any combination thereof, you probably have laundry stains. Not to worry! With this natural stain remover, you can cheaply get most stains out. Save 66.67% per year on laundry stain remover!
Cost breakdown
Commercial laundry stain remover costs $0.12 per oz or $10.28 for 88 oz (4 22oz bottles). DIY solution costs $0.52 per bottle or $0.04 per oz. If you use four 22 oz bottle per month (like my family), you will save $108.16 per year or 66.67%.
If you prefer not to wash your jeans, here are some tips on how to remove stains from denim. If your stains are more stinky or "yucky", you'll want to try this solution. Now for those of you who have everyday staining, this spray stain remover is for you.
Spray Stain Remover
1 cup 3% hydrogen peroxide ($0.08)
1 cup homemade dish soap ($0.44)
In a dark spray bottle (or a clear bottle that's covered with a dark bag, tape, or stored in a dark location--due to the hydrogen peroxide), combine the peroxide and dish soap. You can also reuse an old hydrogen peroxide bottle for squeezing onto stains, but I love using glass spray bottles.
To Use:
Spray directly on stains and let sit for at least an hour. If it's a large stain, you can pour 1/2 cup of the solution into a bucket and fill the bucket with hot water. Soak for a few hours before washing.
Always test a small area before applying this stain remover to a larger fabric surface. This stain remover may be stored at room temperature in a dark location (cabinet, etc.).
If you have lighter clothing, and the ability to sun-dry your clothing, try sun-drying your laundry for maximum effectiveness. You won't believe how well this works!
That's it! To save $108.16 per year, switch to this all-natural and affordable laundry solution.
